THE SEFEKO TEAM understands the African challenges, and also creates solutions that fits this climate. Our tools help monitor and protect resources on duty, with safety precautions like alerts and a panic button warning of potential threats.
The patrol hardware uses quad-band GSM technology to receive voice calls and to communicate in real-time with the Sefeko web-based monitoring software. It uses radio frequency identification (RFID) and GPS technology to track and locate security personnel.
The Sefeko system is designed, developed and manufactured in South Africa.
Sefeko has an option to mark one of the tags on a site as a panic tag. If the tag is scanned, it will have the same effect as pressing the panic button on the handset. Panic tags are typically used in cases where a guard is forced to walk his patrol under duress.
